Dr Suveer Singh is consultant in Respiratory and Intensive Care Medicine at Imperial College London. He works at the Royal Brompton and Chelsea & Westminster Hospitals. He is involved in the National Severe Acute Respiratory failure/ECMO service and runs a Sleep/ventilation service. He is honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer and has been examiner for the RCP, EDIC and FICM. Research interests are computer algorithm weaning, biomarker based antibiotic stewardship in VAP, and periprocedural high flow oxygenation. He is an active Clinical Teacher (undergraduate and postgraduate), examiner for the Royal college of Physicians and Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine, and international Fellowship programmes. He is an active clinical researcher, as a principal and co-investigator for multicentre trials of early diagnostic markers in pulmonary infection and sepsis, and bronchoscopic lung volume reduction in COPD. He supervises MD Fellows involved in academic research.
